Stratford-upon-Avon Decorative and Fine Arts Society welcomes new members. Benefits of membership include 10 lectures per year (see Lectures), priority booking for Members for in-depth study days devoted to subjects of special interest, tours both at home and abroad, day visits to a variety of places – art galleries, gardens, historic houses – plus other social events, and also a copy of the national quarterly magazine, the NADFAS Review. Members have discounts at certain galleries and exhibitions on production of their NADFAS membership card. Many of these are publicised in the NADFAS Review.

The SADFAS year begins in March. We hold monthly lectures (excluding July, August and December), with speakers covering a variety of subjects. Meetings begin with announcements and news, followed by the lecture which lasts approximately 1 hour, and are held on the third Thursday of the month, both morning and afternoon. The morning lecture begins at 10.45 am, the afternoon at 1.30 pm with tea/coffee available beforehand. Meetings are held in The Civic Hall, Rother Street, Stratford–upon–Avon, CV37 6LU.

The 2010–2011 membership year runs from 1st March to 28th February. The annual subscription, either morning or afternoon membership, is £33.00 per person for the 2010–2011 season. Members may bring visitors to meetings during the year(£5.00 per lecture 2009–2010).
